Terms & Conditions of Membership

The Edge

The Edge Business Club is a high growth business club owned and managed by Incisive Edge [solutions] Limited (Incisive Edge), a company registered in England and Wales. Company Number 6834498

Membership

Membership is invited from any entrepreneur or individual in a management or professional role within a company. Membership is to The Edge Business Club. Membership is for a term of 1 month recurring from the date of acceptance. The final decision in any matters relating to membership rests entirely with the Directors of Incisive Edge.

Membership is for named individuals only and is not transferrable without the express permission of Incisive Edge which shall not unreasonably be withheld. Should a member be unable to take up any element of the purchased package provided, no refund in whole or part shall be made.

In the event that a Member cannot attend an event, the Member may offer a replacement. Where a Member is replaced by a substitute, no refund will be made to the Member and the membership fee is still payable. Where a substitute attends an event, they will not be entitled or eligible to any of the other membership benefits excepting attendance at the specified event.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are outlined on the websites www.incisive-edge.com and www.theedgebusinessclub.com and are subject to alteration without prior notification. All membership fees are payable in full with the initial application. However in the event of non acceptance of application membership fees will be refunded immediately (within 5 working days). The membership term is for 1 month recurring from the date of acceptance of membership.

All membership fees paid are non-refundable unless application of Membership is rejected by Incisive Edge at the time of initial application or contained within the Terms and Conditions of The Edge Business Club.

Intellectual Property

Incisive Edge [solutions] Ltd retains full copyright to the intellectual property contained in any articles, information, e-books and self implementation guides provided to members as part of The Edge Business Club packages or made available on www.incisive-edge.com or www.theedgebusinessclub.com. Dissemination of this information to non paying members is not permitted under any circumstances. Copying, reuse, distribution, plagiarism or sale of the information outside of member's personal business development usage is strictly prohibited and full legal redress including pressing for the maximum financial compensation available will be sought in every instance. Incisive Edge [solutions] Ltd employ the latest technological and business surveillance techniques to ensure protection or our intellectual property and retain leading corporate intellectual property litigators to protect our interests.

Payment

Payment may be made by bank transfer or through PayPal as indicated on www.incisive-edge.com and www.theedgebusinessclub.com. If payment is made through www.incisive-edge.com or www.theedgebusinessclub.com such payment will be made in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the respective websites and payment service provider.

Cancellation of Membership

In the event of a member wishing to cancel their membership during their membership term, notice needs to be given in writing to Incisive Edge. No fees are refundable.

In the unlikely event that Incisive Edge decides or is requested to terminate a Member's membership, no membership fees are refundable.

1 Month Membership. Every Member subscribing to the 1 month membership package may cancel their membership within 14 days of their first payment being made and processed. The 1 month subscription fee will be refunded in full within 7 days less a £15 administration fee to cover the cost of the set up and implementation of the Member's mentoring programme. All benefits of the 1 month membership package will cease from the date the Member cancels their membership.

Following completion of the initial month’s membership a Member may then cancel their membership at any time during their monthly recurring contract. No fees will be refunded for the month within which the member cancels their subscription or any months prior.

Cancellation of Events

Incisive Edge reserves the right to cancel an event at any time. In the event of an event being cancelled an alternative event date may be offered and no refund of any membership monies will be made.

Members do not have to attend events in order to retain membership of The Edge Business Club.

Payment for events

Incisive Edge reserves the right to charge an entry fee to events in addition to the membership fee. Notice shall be given of any such fees in advance of events and published on our website.

Change of Speaker

Incisive Edge reserves the right to change the speaker advertised at The Edge Business Club whether through the website www.incisive-edge.com or www.theedgebusinessclub.com or any other promotional material.

Expulsion

Incisive Edge reserves the right to expel any Member from The Edge Business Club as a whole or any Member or guest at any time during an event, and to refuse entry to an event. In this event no fees will be refunded.

Liability

Incisive Edge cannot be held responsible for any accident, illness or injury (or allergic reaction) that occurs to any person whilst attending an event hosted by The Edge Business Club.

Incisive Edge cannot be held liable for the loss of or damage to any person's personal or business items during an event.

Privacy Policy

Any personal data relating to Members will only be used by Incisive Edge in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Such personal data will be collected, processed and used by Incisive Edge or our agents or service providers for the purpose of registering Members' application with The Edge Business Club and facilitating any transactions which Members may enter into with Incisive Edge. Incisive Edge may also make use of such data for administration purposes and future enhancement of services to meet Members' needs as well as marketing, advertising and promotional purposes, which may include sharing the data with agents, partners, service providers or marketing companies.

If Members object to the use of their data in any of the ways mentioned here and/or they do not wish to be contacted by any of the methods referred to above then they should e-mail Incisive Edge on growth@incisive-edge.com

Members have the right to ask Incisive Edge for a copy of the information Incisive Edge hold on them, for which Incisive Edge may charge a small administration fee.

Associated Activities

The Edge Business Club encompasses associated activities including but not limited to the provision of newsletter and case studies both in written form and posted on incisive-edge.com and theedgebusinessclub.com. Articles and items provided by way of associated activities are provided for information purposes only. Incisive Edge do not accept any responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of the article or item content or views or opinions expressed within unless those views are stated to be the views of Incisive Edge its Directors, officers or employees.

Inclusion of an article or submission of any item within associated activities does not imply recommendation of that person or businesses products or services by Incisive Edge or any of its officers or employees unless expressly stated.

Every effort is made to ensure that the details provided within associated activities are correct and not misleading however Incisive Edge cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions, conflict in information or actual service, or views and opinions provided by Members or visiting guests and associates. Incisive Edge is not party to any agreement made between Members and third parties.

Incisive Edge does not accept any responsibility or liability for the use or misuse of any information posted on incisive-edge.com or theedgebusinessclub.com or the views or opinions expressed within by contributors.

The Edge Business Club forum and market place listings are self regulated by the members. As such Incisive Edge takes no responsibility for any of the content posted by the members and cannot be held legally responsible for any copyright infringement, passing off, offensive, damaging, libellous, or misleading information placed on the forum or market place listings. Should Incisive Edge be notified of any such material in existence on the website by members we shall take prompt action to remove such content and block offending accounts. Incisive Edge shall not be liable to pay any damages on account of the presence of such material at any point and members participate and contribute entirely in the knowledge that they do so at their own risk on the basis that they are engaging with a self regulating online community. Incisive Edge [solutions] Ltd cannot be held in anyway responsible for the security or safety of individuals should they decide to either personally conduct business with or arrange personal meetings with those they have met either online through our websites or at any event or meeting arranged by Incisive Edge [solutions] Ltd. Users engage with each other solely at their own risk and Incisive Edge [solutions] Ltd offer no guarantee as to the credibility, veracity or intentions of any individual within our network or membership and encourage members to act with standard caution and conduct the usual due diligence procedures in advance should they wish to engage with other members or users of their own volition for whatever purpose.

Incisive Edge [solutions] Ltd receive no financial incentive or reward from business conducted through user promotion on The Market Place. Incisive Edge [solutions] Ltd take no responsibility for business deals, relationships, associations made or transactions instigated through listings or posts on the market place and forums and cannot validate the quality, credibility, ownership or authenticity of any of the products, services or member claims therein.

Incisive Edge cannot guarantee to reply to all requests submitted via www.incisive-edge.com or www.theedgebusinessclub.com although it will endeavour to do so.

Incisive Edge reserves the right to amend The Edge Business Club Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice.

Incisive Edge reserves the right to terminate any membership of The Edge Business Club at any time, if any Member breaches any of The Edge Business Club Terms and Conditions or Terms of Use.
